Biomedical scientist and computational biologist with long-standing experience in translational omics, systems biology and precision medicine. Research activity focuses on mechanisms of human disease, with emphasis on inflammatory bowel disease, tissue remodeling and fibrosis, microbiome-host interactions, molecular oncology, viral genomics, cardiovascular molecular phenotyping, drug repositioning and biomarker discovery.
