Welcome to the Medical Biology Laboratory webpage!
We are a team of passionate scientists who are dedicated to studying the molecular mechanisms of viruses and their interactions with host cells and organisms. Our research focuses on a wide range of viruses, including human pathogens and animal pathogens Through our research, we aim to make significant contributions to the field of virology and improve human health. We are committed to training the next generation of virologists and scientists, and to sharing our findings with the wider scientific community. Thank you for visiting our page and please feel free to contact us with any questions or inquiries.
Our Aims
At the core of our work is the belief that understanding the molecular basis of viral infections is key to developing effective treatments and preventative measures. Our research efforts are aimed at uncovering the fundamental principles that govern virus-host interactions, with the ultimate goal of developing new therapies and vaccines.
Teamwork!
Our group consists of a diverse team of researchers, including postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and technicians. We work collaboratively, sharing expertise and resources to tackle complex problems in virology. Our state-of-the-art facilities enable us to use cutting-edge techniques and technologies to investigate viruses at the molecular level.
